nevets73 I am biased as my face is on the cover, but I love that Mayhem Lettuce heard that I could play the chords on my ukulele and was like "Yeah, let's take a fan favorite REM song and try it!" and here we are.

I wasn't aware that I was being recorded singing the REM version of "Dark Globe" so it was a real treat to hear it on here. Favorite track: Dark Globe.

about

Our friend Steve likes REM. A lot. He came over and played a few chords on his ukulele a couple years ago and we turned that session into this. We may have gotten a little carried away but it's pretty fun. This is meant to evoke the CD singles of the 90's wherein you'd get a bunch of remixes as b-sides.

about

Mayhem Lettuce Port Byron, Illinois

Mayhem Lettuce was formed in Port Byron, IL in 1993 when two sad teenage boys decided to channel their angst into music.
That music sits at the crossroads of King Missile and Portishead with a dash of The Cure and a pinch of They Might Be Giants.
